Using Geodata in the Seed Sector

The Netherlands Space Office and SeedNL commissioned a study to explore the potential of geodata applications in the seed sector, with a focus on identifying opportunities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The primary objective was to evaluate how digital tools can support seed companies, optimize seed performance, and expand farmers’ access to quality seeds. Additionally, the study aims to promote dialogue between the seed and geodata sectors, fostering synergies that benefit farmers through enhanced access to quality seeds, increased yields, and improved food security

Please have a look at the two-pager below to explore options for digital applications for seed companies as well as opportunities where digital solutions can enhance efficiency and drive better outcomes throughout the seed sector.
